Department of Heating, Ventilation
and Dust Removal Technology

On 16.11.2012 in Gliwice, Department of Heating, Ventilation and Dust Removal Technology was organized Scientific Conference COMPLEX THERMAL DIAGNOSTICS OF BUILDINGS IN SITU.

The aim of the Conference is to disseminate the results of the research carried out within Task 4 Development of thermal diagnostics of buildings of the Strategic Research Project Integrated System for Reducing Energy Consumption in the Maintenance of Buildings.

The conference will present a new, rapid method for building thermal diagnostics in situ – implemented for an identified by measurements, existing building of particular structure and with functioning installations. The method includes the procedure to prepare the building
energy characteristics certificate b a s e d  o n  m e a s u r e m e n t s.

During the conference, the representatives of the scientific-industrial consortium, formed to carry out the Task, will present their experience in the following fields of the Task:

  • diagnostics in situ of building thermal insulation,
  • diagnostics in situ of heat sources, heating and domestic hot water installations,
  • diagnostics in situ of ventilation and air-conditioning installations,
  • indoor environment diagnostics in situ,
  • measurement system for thermal diagnostics of buildings,
  • complex thermal diagnostics of buildings,
  • building energy performance certificates based on measurements.

The above issues correspond to the parts of the Task and will be presented in the form of papers by the project executors (the conference program does not include any papers presented by external participants).

Information on possibilities to consolidate the knowledge of the new method, i.e. of the multi-volume handbook and training courses will also be provided.

The conference will end with a panel discussion to which all the participants will be invited (the audience, special guests and speakers).
